Do More with Less
Multifunctionality
The SinusJet CTS testbed offers dual functionality when it comes to crankshaft
testing: the actuator and the vertical frame system are adjustable to allow
both bending and torsional tests.
Fully Customizable Test Scenarios
Simple and intuitive definition of load cases and scenarios through the
easy-to-use electric control unit, up to 50 kNm of bending and 100 kNm torsional
load.
Opportunities in Flexibility
Probe Configuration
Depending on the target of the tests, the probes can be prepared as single
or multiple crank pieces as well as complete crankshafts up to 1,000 mm
in length.
Secure and Interchangeable Clamping Rings
For enhanced compatibility the testbed is equipped with interchangeable
clamping rings in order to support a wide range of bearing diameters. The
effective range of clampable diameters is 75 mm to 180 mm.
Simplicity and Efficiency
Easy Operation
The SinusJet CTS was designed with simple handling in mind: the support
system and the mechanical actuator are arrangeable to accommodate different
sizes of probes in the shortest time possible.
Mechanical Design
The SinusJet CTS testbed uses a tried and tested mechanical approach to
deliver high bending or torsional loads with a relatively low excitation
moment using a single actuator and a 9 kW electric motor.
